Police Recover $16,000 In Scam Investigation

Glens Falls Police say a local resident was nearly scammed out of $16,000 after receiving a call claiming a daughter needed bail money following a crash. Investigators tracked down an Uber driver who had unknowingly picked up the cash package and recovered the money before it reached the scammers. The investigation remains ongoing.

Queensbury Elementary Names New Principal

The Queensbury Union Free School District has selected Wendy Caruso as the next principal of Queensbury Elementary School. Caruso will begin July 1st and brings six years of experience as an assistant principal in New York City.
