Belmont Festival Betting Tops Prior Years
The final Belmont Stakes Racing Festival at Saratoga Race Course drew fewer spectators than last year, but wagering reached a three-year high. Nearly $200 million was bet during the five-day event. The Belmont Stakes is expected to return to its traditional home at Belmont Park in 2027 following completion of a major renovation project.
