Officials in Warren County say they’ve identified most of the 3 point 3 million dollars stolen in a phishing scam targeting the county’s treasurer’s office. Investigators say a suspect posing as a legitimate company convinced staff to send multiple electronic payments. Sheriff Jim LaFarr told county supervisors the case has been solved, though efforts continue to recover the remaining money and pursue prosecution. Authorities say no employees will face criminal charges, but several warning signs were missed during the scam.

He was one of just 12 broadcasters nationwide chosen to participate in discussions and provide input during the design and rollout of Google’s digital broadcast automation platform. Although the majority of Ed’s career—spanning roughly four decades—was rooted in music radio, he transitioned into news and information programming in 2012. He says the move into spoken-word broadcasting was a natural evolution after decades of experience in multiple areas of the industry.
